Installation
Customers may install their own units or we can install units for them. Having us install our own systems ensures proper fit and operation. Unique problems can be corrected quickly, at the source, because we control design, procurement and manufacturing. Installation can be included in the unit price or treated separately.
Manufacture
Including engine exhaust filters, we design and manufacture our own systems. This means that we can provide units with special features or fittings and equip fleets having diverse makes, models and vintages.
Filter Regeneration
Ceramic filters trap soot (unburned carbon) that clogs the filter and, eventually, renders it ineffective. Filters can be "regenerated" by super-heating them to burn the unburned carbon and turn it into ash that can be flushed out using high-pressure air. High quality filters can be regenerated many times before they need replacing. Filter life is estimated to exceed 5000 operational hours.
Smoke Blotter® can regenerate ceramic filters quickly, on short notice and at competitive prices. Standing arrangements are normally required for short-notice service.
Hazard Assessment
We can visit on site and provide written assessment of certain health hazards and recommend solutions. This is not expensive and can provide useful information to management. Smoke Blotter® has been in the field for years and is concerned with practical real-life solutions.
Grant Funding
We can assist you in preparing convincing applications for grant funding through FEMA, EPA, and Air Quality Programs.
Replacement Parts
Smoke Blotter®, Inc. provides replacement parts for our own systems and those of other manufacture at reasonable prices. Failed or damaged parts can be delivered (and installed, if necessary) on short notice.
Smoke Blotter® makes custom, high quality, welded, overpressure-protected diverter valves that will not blow apart. We can also fabricate replacement parts for most competitive systems and have them shipped to your destination.
